You may wish to get rid of your Joomla from your server for any reason whatsoever. You may want to reinstall it on another server or delete it completely or the initial installation was faulty. The procedure is simple. Login to your website’s FTP and delete all Joomla files and folders. Ensure that you don’t delete folders or files that are not pertaining to your site. The process can be lengthy if there are several extensions or images /files in your website. Next go to phpMyadmin and drop the database that has the data of your Joomla website. Again be careful not to drop a shared database where there could be data of other websites. Next go to the Cron jobs page in your control panel and delete all crons that are linked to your Joomla website. Once done you have successfully uninstalled Joomla from your server.
