It is indeed extremely simple to install cPanel in a VPS server or Dedicated server. One has to follow the simple steps for installation of what is most probably the simplest software: • One must obtain a server license to install a cPanel and run it. This cPanel license should be bought for server’s primary IP address. • One can install cPanel within its secured socket shell by downloading it and directly installing it. • One has to open his SSH client for installation purpose. • One must type ssh username@hostname to initiate a connection. • One has to type ssh [email protected] or ssh [email protected] after this. • One must make use of his own IP address or domain name. • One needs to execute the following commands for installation of cPanel on the server. 1. cd/home 2. wget-N http://httpupdate.cpanel.net/latest 3. sh latest • If following the procedure seems to be difficult, one may contact his service provider. The service provider will get it done by their senior technicians for the customer. The entire process if done by the user himself may take about 50 minutes to 1 hour. The technician may be able to do it more quickly. After this one can access his cPanel on his server. |
