Can someone explain how to block an IP address, so that it cannot access my dedicated server?

In order to block IP addresses from accessing your Dedicated Server, you would need to log as a root administrator into your SSH. Once logged, execute the following command in order to block an IP address from accessing your server:

iptables -I INPUT -s IPaddress -j DROP

Simply replace IP address with the IP you want to block.

Please note that you have to repeat the process every time the firewall is started.
