How to modify the files through FTP on a dedicated server?

To change/edit the number of files shown per folder via FTP on your dedicated server, you must first login to your dedicated server as root using a secure shell. Next, open the conf file with the text editor of your choice. Locate the line which shows the number of files and sub-directories depth. You can easily edit these values to match your requirements. Then use the appropriate command to restart the service.
