How can You FTP account in cPanel?

To add new FTP accounts, click on the FTP Accounts icon mentioned in the 'Files box'of your cPanel (cPanel is available at yourdomain.com/cpanel).
You will be prompted for all the necessary details for your new account, on the top of the page:
When you are filling in the details, make sure to choose a strong password for your account. This is essential for avoiding the so-called brute-force attacks. A strong password will have at least one number and one special character.
One of the boxes is called "Directory". It decides which will be the home directory of the newly formed account. Leaving it empty will allow a full admittance to your hosting account.
SiteGround endorses that a fixed directory is set for each particular user, leaving the directory space empty will allow your FTP users access the key folder. They will enable to change the content of your website.
If you are prepared to grant such access, you should ponder on doing this for a restricted period of time and then change your password. Otherwise your account could be negotiated with.
